Freedom of Choice - Economically Speaking
July 4th, 2009 | by caprice |Happy 4th of July! We Americans love our independence and freedoms - today is a great day to celebrate them. Choice regarding health care services is a economic priviledge for many of us that I hope we can maintan. Wednesday’s Wall Street Journal had a good article, written by economist George Newman, that quickly went through the logical considerations one would make regarding arguments for health care reform. It is a helpful piece if you are still trying to make sense of the optimistic assertions made by those who believe that everyone is in favor of what some in the government are promoting. There remains a lot of opposition to the reform package being presented.
