The mandate for employer provided insurance coverage passed through the HELP (Health, Education, Labor and Pensions) committee on Wednesday. It is my opinion congress should look at tax implications of payments (read tax credits for self-insured) among other things; not create more legislation that will reduce the number of full time employees. It takes 30 seconds - 1 minute to send your legislators a quick message to let them know if you oppose restrictive mandates.
